Reconnecting!
I’m getting back in touch with an awesome group of ladies tonight - it is great to reconnect with all of you - now to just stay active on this site! :)

Can’t understand all the craziness being created around the men’s Olympic figure skating results…it’s all pretty cut and dry when you look at the scores and understand the IJS judging system. Just wish Plushenko could have handled things with a little more class. :/

Got another visit from the drama fairy in my life today…nothing like that to turn the world around. Ugh.
Everyone is sick…
I’m seriously wondering if I have anyone to teach this evening - a ton of the skaters at the rink got really ill over the weekend on a competition trip, so I’ve already had two cancellations today…eep! I just don’t want to get it too, that would be really not okay. :/

2 Years!
Today is our two year anniversary! Much love to my wonderful fellow - I’m delighted to be sharing my life with you. :)
Updates for today…
January is nearly complete, which is bringing us that much closer to the “big event” - we are Adult Nationals 2010 bound! The free dance is nearly done, intros are set on the compulsories (I still think the Rhumba is rather mean, but ah well), and it’s a lot of skating and polishing for the time being.
We had a good lesson with Ari today, happy to have him back from taking his senior team to nationals (they did great, especially for their first time at the senior level!). Lots of choreography and layout work got done, which is awesome. I’m still in love with our music, and it seems to be shaping up to be really beautiful.
I’ve ordered dresses for the two compulsory dances, and am eagerly awaiting the rest of the supplies to arrive so that I can begin the long and painful actually-making-the-free dance-dress saga. I’ve got stones (funny, they are the last thing I’ll do with the dress, but they arrived first), way more fabric than I hope I’ll need, and am just waiting on the dye, which should be arriving shortly. All is looking well to have an awesome dress ready to go, and then I am also going to make the coordinating shirt for my partner, but that should be much easier (I hope!).
It’s really fun to be doing this again…I’m excited every time I skate!
